Bullying, including cyberbullying, is prohibited by law in the state of Texas under the Texas Education Code ($37.0832). It is defined as any written, verbal, or physical act that exploits an imbalance of power and causes physical or emotional harm to a student. Gause ISD is committed to providing a safe and respectful learning environment for all students. Reports of bullying-anonymous or
identified will be investigated promptly and in accordance with district policy and state law. Retaliation against individuals who report bullying in good faith is strictly prohibited.
